ALJA — Atelier Les Jeunes Artisans — was born from a passion for Moroccan craft heritage and a determination to make it accessible to everyone.
About us
Two passionate young women,
a heritage to pass on
Atelier Les Jeunes Artisans (ALJA) was founded in 2022 by Maryem and Wafae, two young Moroccan women passionate about craftsmanship and holders of a Master's degree from the Academy of Traditional Arts of the Hassan II Mosque Foundation.
Driven by the desire to preserve and pass on Moroccan craftsmanship, we created ALJA to bring the public closer to these crafts through creative, accessible and authentic experiences.
Today we offer craft workshops, DIY kits and made-to-measure experiences for individuals, companies, groups and events.
Zellige, tazouaqt, weaving, pottery, leather, carved plaster… every experience is a chance to discover a traditional craft, learn the artisans' gestures and create your own piece.
